Notes:

The 2014 growing season was much like 2013 being a warm and mild year. A relatively dry winter led us to an early bud break and an unventful start to the year. Bloom and fruit set were remarkably even and yielded a decent crop of average sized clusters berries. The summer ripening was a winemaker's dream: warm but not hot days, cool nights, and minimal fog. Our Two Thousand Fourteen vintage Chenoweth perfectly captures this stellar growing season with vibrant red fruit on the nose and dusty, dark leather notes on the finish. Fine tannins and juicy acidity balance the dense flavors to complete the package.
